5-Tree Bonsai Growing Kit

Really nice packaging with detailed explanation. Good quality. Followed step-by-step process, planted on December 25. Three of the five varieties sprouted within days (Pigeon Pea, Jacaranda, Locust). Plenty of seeds available for a replant which was done on February 8, when I replanted the other two varieties. Made first transplant of the Pigeon Pea on February 8 (photo). Other two varieties are progressing. Recommend you follow water and light directions closely. Also recommend a small grow light to manage exposure in the early stages and a rotating display platform (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3PLF4GJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) to provide air flow and even light absorption.

I bought this as a small project to slow down and do something different, and it ended up being way more enjoyable than I expected. Everything comes nicely organized, and the instructions are clear enough even if you’ve never grown anything before. It’s oddly relaxing planting the seeds and checking on them each day.This also makes a really good gift, it looks thoughtful, not cheap but worth it

This was my daughter’s favorite Christmas present! (Age 11) she loves plants and was so excited! I was so glad it came with EVERYTHING we needed! Simple to do and we already have 1 sprout! 😍 We can’t wait to see what she can grow!

I got this as a fun thing to do with my 5 grandkids. They were up for it so I started the day before soaking the seeds, then the next day when they got here, we did the soil. I think we had a bit to much water but it leaked out paper towel for about an hour then I sprayed them twice a day. Two of the 5 sprouted so after 14 days I replanted the other 3. Still nothing so I took out the extra seeds, soaked 24 hours and will replant them. I have more soil to use so will try again.

Started to grow a few different trees in less than 2 weeks (end of Sept). Really happy with the purchase. There are two that aren’t growing anything yet but time will tell. Super easy kit to use and walks you through how to start. Great gift for someone who wants to get into bonsai. Only downside is side is, you won’t have a tree to work on for at least a year or more.

I had wanted a bonsai for the longest time, but they are expensive and I'm not the best gardener. So I decided to give this set to grow my own bonsai a go, and so far so good. I loved that the packaging is not only cute but useful, the tools are super cute and most important functional. I found the instructions easy to understand and to follow. It's been a week and a half and 4 out of the 5 type of seed have sprouted, I'm still hopeful on the one that hasn't. The bonsai set comes with enough seeds to try again if the seeds don't sprout. I'm super excited to see my little bonsai grow. A tip: Use waterproof ink to write the signs or the ink will run when you water the seeds/plants.

I always liked Bonsai trees so I thought I would try this. The contents are great-soil for 5 plants, 5 different types of seeds, a sturdy plant box, small tools and an easy to follow instruction book. All 5 seeds sprouted and came up. Nearly 5 months later only 1 of the tree types is showing any signs of life. One is hanging on but the leaves are drying up & 3 trees have all dried up in spite of constant care. This has been a fun attempt, but the trees seem that they are difficult to grow. I feel the only way to have a Bonsai tree is to buy a fully grown one but give it a try, you might have better results than me.

This Bonsai kit is very well put together with easy to follow directions as well as instructional videos. It’s a lot nicer than I anticipated and worth every penny. Customer service is very easy to get in contact with and is quick to respond with any questions or concerns that you may have. I would definitely recommend this kit and may buy a few as gifts for family members.

I started my kit few months after the purchase i was moving around and kinda forgot about it.I planted them january 23 and already on january 28 i had 2 already growing im so happy but worried about the other ones.Its easy to set up kit and i really recommend!

I loved this product. I would say this a great gift for people who love to garden and take care of plants. Also, it is not expensive and it is worth the money since you get so many seeds and all of the gardening tools with it if you are a beginner. This product also has a great step by step instruction book that makes planting everything super easy and easy to follow. It has great plant variety since you are not only getting all the tools but 5 different types of trees. I will definitely be buying this again.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loves it. She sends me pictures of how the Bonsai plants are growing.

I bought 3 different Bonsai kits for Christmas gifts for family members. This kit has seen the best results thus far as seeding growth goes. I will try to update more in the future when more growth occurs. Overall was a well received gift.

I learned through attempting to grow these trees that my greenthumb isn't as green as it needs to be to keep the trees alive... upside I got them to spout up then sadly they died shortly after..😩

Follow the directions and you will be growing in no time! I soaked the seeds on December 23rd over night. Planted on Christmas Eve, I kept the soil moist and warm. Today is January first and here are my Pigeon Pea, flame trees, and crepe myrtle(finally making her entrance on the far right of the picture. 100% would recommend this kit for beginners!!

Very cool set with everything you need. My daughter and I (dad) actually did this together and we do nothing together :) Just started soaking the seeds, so we'll see if we get trees out of them, but I'm sure we will.
