Our Story

Avergo started because nothing would grow.

Our founder kept buying seeds, following the instructions on the packet, and watching nothing happen. Not once — for years. The problem was never the person. It was that every packet assumes you already know the parts nobody writes down: how wet the soil should be, how warm, how deep the seed goes, and what week to expect something.

So he started testing. Different seeds, different soil, different windowsills — most of it alongside his kid, who turned out to be much better at the patient parts. Slowly the failures turned into a method: soak the seeds first, wake the soil up with water, plant shallow, keep it warm, mist rather than pour, and wait longer than feels reasonable.

The kit is that method in a box. Tested seeds that actually germinate, coconut coir soil discs that expand with water, planters, markers, mini tools, a spray bottle, and a guide that tells you what to do on which day — not what to do in general.

We build it for the person who has killed every plant they have ever owned, for families who want a project that lasts longer than an afternoon, and for anyone looking for a gift that is still alive months later.
