A very nice little kit with several bowls, dirt disks, and packets of seeds. The bowls are surprisingly sturdy, considering they feel like thin cardboard. I was able to put a dirt disk in the cardboard bowl and added 1 cup of water without leaking.The dirt disk initially looked dusty and old, but once I added water, the dirt appeared clean and smelled fresh. I added the seeds and allowed them to rest, and we saw sprouts within two days, even though the instructions stated that sprouts can take weeks.The reason I didn't give this kit five stars is that the instructions were not specific to this set, but instead to another set.We are at the beginning of our growth, but so far, the kit has been easy to use, and the growth has been fast. I'm hyper-vigilant about what my cats eat, so I'll update the review once we have total growth and if my kids eat it.

The directions are clear and simple to follow. Once you hydrate the soil pucks, you just add the seeds and place them near a sunny window. Within a few days, sprouts appear, and in about a week the grass grows tall.My cats absolutely love nibbling on it, and I like knowing it’s healthy for their digestion. The three-pack design makes it a great value, and it’s perfect for gifting to fellow cat parents. I also think it’s a fun project for kids, watching the grass grow is surprisingly satisfying.That said, the containers are made of cardboard and can get soggy if overwatered, so I recommend using saucers or small trays underneath to protect surfaces. The soil quality is fine for this use, but not amazing. Despite these minor flaws, it’s still a solid product that delivers what it promises.

Don't judge. 😉)This is a cute kit in a colorful box. It comes with three each of planting bowls, soil discs, and packs of seeds. Read the directions before you start! You need to expand the soil in water before beginning. It only fills about a third of the container.The directions say you don't need to worry about leakage from the containers, but I wouldn't risk it on nice hardwood. The seeds haven't sprouted yet at the time of writing, but I am excited to see what the cats think of it!The soil is "dusty", if that makes sense. It's a poorer quality soil, but it's for cat grass so I don't think it matters all that much in this case. Product is made from both USA and Chinese components.

Super cat grass kit, comes with everything in there that you need to get the grass growing for the cats. Dirt, seeds, planter boxes, instructions, everything! It actually says in the manual that it’s gonna take a couple weeks to sprout, but I’ve used these things before and it usually takes three or four days to sprout and within a week you have a nice 2 inch or 3 inch tall grass, not ready for the cats yet but starting to grow. I like this kit in the way, they’ve got it put together and with everything in there it’s great! I give it an A+.

So far so good. It says in the description it takes around two weeks for the seeds to germinate. These started to grow on the 7th or 8th day.The grass seems thicker but it might ne because its a "just born" stem. Not sure how this really works but I do have two cats and Im eager for the seeds to reach full growth to see what my cats do. Il post another image in a week when the grass has fully sprouted from the soil and additional commentary whether my cats seek it out or not.

Tip: If your containers get soggy, you're over watering. Place a saucer under them for better stability.Our cats love this wheatgrass. The kit was super easy to use and came with everything we needed (except the water of course). It's easy to grow, we just let the seeds germinate and then place them in a window when they're ready for sunlight. They grow fairly quickly once in that stage. Most of the seeds germinated, so they have a good germinating rate.Overall, the three pack makes this a really good value for the price. The bowls can get soggy if you over water, but other than that, it's a good kit. Definitely recommend.

This is the perfect kit for cats that love to eat grass. It comes with 3 sets of planters, soil, and seeds. I only used one of them at first to see how it goes and how much grass my cat will eat.The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Although they do direct you to prepare all of the dirt at once. I simply used one soil puck and one package of seeds.There are a lot of seeds so you will get a nice full container of grass. Just follow the directions for planting, watering and light so that you get good results. Now my cat has one less excuse to try escaping the house!

The instructions were easy to follow. The first bag of seeds grew quickly and my cat loved it. However, the kit came with more bags of seeds, and it was not easy to figure out how to sow the second, third bag of seeds. I could not dig into the growing medium to get the seeds buried far enough to be covered and grow. If there are some simple tips, that would be very helpful.

This was a gift and was warmly received. One thing was bad, its box was crushed and that was not appreciated as it was a gift. I still gave it to my friend.

It quickly sprouted but for some reason the soil started to mold up after a few weeks idk why and I didn’t drenched it in water either but the colder weather in 2025 has been a little weird a and that could of cause this issue… idk.

This is a great cat grass kit. My boy cat gets to go outside on a harness, but he always tries to eat the grass and since it's a community housing place, I don't trust that the grass doesn't have pesticides or something on it. Now he can eat grass indoors and he likes it! The kit comes with enough supplies for 3 different rounds of grass. The instructions are easy to follow too. The grass took a few days to sprout, then went crazy! I kept it above the stove while waiting for it to sprout so it would stay warm and out of bright light as instructed, and it was easy to grow that way. It looks really beautiful too! The grass stalks are sturdy enough once they reach 3 or 4 inches that the cat can tug on them and not pull them all the way out. The amount of grass is thick enough to give him all he wants. Once it's munched down, it does re-grow again too. You just have to be careful not to overwater it or the soil gets a little moldy. A great product!
