5-Tree Bonsai Growing Kit + Grow Light

J'ai planter les graines des 5 esp�ces le 3 novembre et nous sommes le 7 novembre. � ce jour, 2 des 5 esp�ces de Bonsai ont tous sortis (pigeon pea et Delonix). Je suis en attente de voir pour les 3 autres esp�ces. Les instructions, bien que seulement en anglais, �taient facile � suivre. Je vais essayer de venir commenter apr�s quelques jours pour vous dire si les autres esp�ces ont germin�es.

This is quite a comprehensive starter kit for Bonsai trees. I initially ordered it as a gift but ended up trying it out myself. It comes with everything you need to get started including a few basic tools as well as the seeds and instructions. I initially tried my luck in germinating seeds, but unfortunately, most likely through my neglect, they never fully bloomed. In the set's defense, I did not water as sufficiently as I should. What was nice is that the set guarantees germination and will even send more seeds if you are;t able to start them. Thankfully they provide a sufficient amount of seeds so I can try again. I will personally probably have to find a less sunny spot as well as set up a soil meter to gauge the soil moisture/dryness.

So easy to grow and has everything you need. It�s a great activity for a couple or even a larger stocking stuffer for holidays. Pigeon pea sprouted after only 3 days, while the others trailed behind. So rewarding to see growth so quick.

Started to grow a few different trees in less than 2 weeks (end of Sept). Really happy with the purchase. There are two that aren�t growing anything yet but time will tell. Super easy kit to use and walks you through how to start. Great gift for someone who wants to get into bonsai. Only downside is side is, you won�t have a tree to work on for at least a year or more.

I had wanted a bonsai for the longest time, but they are expensive and I'm not the best gardener. So I decided to give this set to grow my own bonsai a go, and so far so good. I loved that the packaging is not only cute but useful, the tools are super cute and most important functional. I found the instructions easy to understand and to follow. It's been a week and a half and 4 out of the 5 type of seed have sprouted, I'm still hopeful on the one that hasn't. The bonsai set comes with enough seeds to try again if the seeds don't sprout. I'm super excited to see my little bonsai grow. A tip: Use waterproof ink to write the signs or the ink will run when you water the seeds/plants.

I got this as a fun thing to do with my 5 grandkids. They were up for it so I started the day before soaking the seeds, then the next day when they got here, we did the soil. I think we had a bit to much water but it leaked out paper towel for about an hour then I sprayed them twice a day. Two of the 5 sprouted so after 14 days I replanted the other 3. Still nothing so I took out the extra seeds, soaked 24 hours and will replant them. I have more soil to use so will try again.

It�s always been my dream to have a bonsai tree at home, and I was shocked to discover that I could actually grow one myself!To my surprise and delight, the seeds really did sprout just like the instructions said. I�ve already planted my very first tree and now I�m eagerly waiting for the first little leaves to appear. I�m so excited for this journey!

I bought this as a small project to slow down and do something different, and it ended up being way more enjoyable than I expected. Everything comes nicely organized, and the instructions are clear enough even if you�ve never grown anything before. It�s oddly relaxing planting the seeds and checking on them each day.This also makes a really good gift, it looks thoughtful, not cheap but worth it

This was my daughter�s favorite Christmas present! (Age 11) she loves plants and was so excited! I was so glad it came with EVERYTHING we needed! Simple to do and we already have 1 sprout! ?? We can�t wait to see what she can grow!

I was genuinely surprised how quickly this bonsai kit started showing results! It�s been only 7 days since I planted the seeds, and you can already see the little sprouts popping out (see my photos!). ??The kit includes everything you need to start: seeds for 5 bonsai varieties, biodegradable pots, soil pellets, tools, wooden box, and markers. The box is nicely made and looks great on the kitchen counter � it keeps everything organized and cute at the same time.I didn�t expect the seeds to germinate so fast, but they did � and watching the tiny plants grow has been such a joy! Some are growing faster than others, but that�s part of the fun. It�s a relaxing and satisfying experience, and a great way to get into indoor gardening.I highly recommend this as a gift or just a little project for yourself. Really nice packaging with detailed explanation. Good quality. Followed step-by-step process, planted on December 25. Three of the five varieties sprouted within days (Pigeon Pea, Jacaranda, Locust). Plenty of seeds available for a replant which was done on February 8, when I replanted the other two varieties. Made first transplant of the Pigeon Pea on February 8 (photo). Other two varieties are progressing. Recommend you follow water and light directions closely. Also recommend a small grow light to manage exposure in the early stages and a rotating display platform (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3PLF4GJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) to provide air flow and even light absorption.

The kit is nice. Still waiting for my seed to grow. The quality of the scissors are poor. Mine broke before it got use.

4 out of 5 trees were produced so we were fairly happy with it.. they definitely give enough seeds.

The box was broken on delivery, but was all intact. Started to grow, going by instructions and have had absolutely no luck getting any of the seeds to germinate. Very upset with this.Edit: Seller contacted me and offered to make it right. Very happy with them doing so!

I notice that this box contains all the materials needed to grow the plants, but not everything works. The soil for example isn't the best soil to grow plants in, i had to use my own stuff to make it better. Not all the seeds sprouted which is normal but I would just keep your expectation low as bonsai takes a long time to grow to beautiful ones like the pictures. Don't give up and definitely try using store bought soil instead for a better result!

I saw this online while browsing and thought how cool would it be to grow my own bonsai trees! Have always wanted a bonsai but they are very expensive. Growing from seed seemed like a much better idea. Did not fully take into account that it takes about a decade for the plants to become "trees" as this fact is not mentioned anywhere in the owner's manual. The kit is great although I have mixed thoughts about the seed to sprout process. I purchased separately one of those growing trays with the clear lid and must say, I have had so many seeds sprout in the tray that I feel that is the best way. The canvas open topped bags they include here for growing did not work very well. Out of all of the seeds I planted, I have had 13 sprouts. After some strange plant sickness killed a few, I am down to 9. The tools they include are very cheaply made and fall apart easily and the wooden box they come in is pretty much useless once you replant your seedlings. Initially, when i first opened the kit, they ship you 100's of seeds. Only 3 types of seeds were actually viable, the rest had fallen apart and dried out. Not sure how long these kits sit in storage but, enough seeds sprouted that I didn't really care about the 2 varieties that weren't viable. To make up for this, they included a small packet of emergency seeds to be used if other seeds don't sprout so that was nice. Overall, I find that this kit is excellent for an introduction to growing plants from seed but the process of keeping these plants alive is a little tedious and experimental. They really don't give you enough information in the included manual.

We have a family member who retired. She was used to a go-go-go lifestyle. She never had time for much while working because she was such an achiever there. Now she's got so much time on her hands that she needs something new in her life.I gave her a small bonsai kit a couple of years ago and she really seemed to like it. I saw this and thought it would be the next step for her.I love that it has different varieties in it. I also love that you get to start with seeds. This way you can really train it up the way you want it to go. It also makes this a long term fun project.I'm so excited about the blooming colors of these too. I've only seen evergreen type bonsai so having flowers is a fun twist.The list price seems high for this since you get seeds and not plants. It's on sale right now and that's closer to what it should be.I'm hoping she'll send me pictures of it as it grows.

I am a huge houseplant enthusiast who has always wanted to grow my own bonsai tree, which is why I decided to order this starter kit to see if I could get one started for myself. It's a pretty nice beginner kit and comes with a variety of seeds with extras in case the ones you plant don't sprout. It comes with grow bags to get started in but I don't really like them since they are kind of floppy and not sturdy, so I start my seeds off in regular plant pots instead. I like that this kit also comes with little tools to use if you don't have any and is well suited for beginners, I think it would make a good gift for any plant lover. The one thing I will mention though is that this is only a beginner kit really just focused on getting a seedling started, you will have to do your own research and also get a proper pot after it is large enough, so just keep that in mind. Otherwise, I have no complaints or constructive criticism etc about this kit and I do recommend it to others.
